Hi friends! My name is Copper or Copper Dog; my tiny humans named me after the charming pup in the 1981 buddy drama, Fox and the Hound. I am a chocolate Australian Labradoodle; a breed developed in Australia for a family who was in need of a hypoallergenic service dog. As a pandemic puppy, my family brought me home to Sonoma County in late 2020 where I’ve been living my best life. Really, I’m just another child trapped in a ball of wavy curls and enjoy enthusiastically greeting people at the office; especially the UPS man who gives me a treat for not barking at him. On my days off, I enjoy chasing my toys, zooming with my human friends, giving hugs, belly rubs, watching the chickens in their coop, and finding snacks. I’ve never met a foe and look forward to meeting new friends!
Since she was just a pup, Copper has been bringing smiles and cuddles to the lives of others. Although she loves being home, Copper needed something more, and started visiting the office intermittingly to share her love for life with the extended Three Groves family. Copper hosts professional development trainings on pawsitive reinforcement, and is our resident greeter, giving an abundance of attention to our valued clients (as well as anyone else who walks by).
